This round covers six listings in very different fields: martial arts, hair, real estate, ice cream, plastic surgery and a family-run Italian market. The details below come from each business's own website.
Nick Catone MMA & Fitness, Brick
This training center sits at 781 Brick Boulevard. Its website lists boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing and MMA classes, plus a kids program and private training.
The site describes a 31,300-square-foot facility with 8,000 square feet of mats, an 18-foot boxing ring, more than 40 heavy bags and two 30-foot octagons. It also says new visitors can schedule a trial class. The directory does not list hours for this business, so call (732) 458-0133 to ask about the class schedule.
Lavish Salon, Beach Haven
Lavish Salon is a hair salon at 115 South Bay Avenue on Long Beach Island. Its website shows work in color design and cuts, formal styling and makeup, and says it also serves brides and their bridal parties.
The salon says it is open year round and asks clients to call to schedule. The directory lists no hours, and the website has an hours heading with nothing under it, so phone (609) 492-9955 before you plan a visit.
Garabedian Realty Group, Surf City
Garabedian Realty Group works from one office at 103 N 12th Street in Surf City. Its website presents two sides of the business: brokerage for people who want to sell, buy or invest, and construction management that includes custom homes.
The site shows current listings in places such as Long Beach Township and Little Egg Harbor, and points visitors to a separate custom homes page for featured projects. No hours are listed in the directory. The office number is (609) 494-8400.
Miss Mindy's Homemade Ice Cream, Bayville
Miss Mindy's is on Atlantic City Boulevard in Bayville. Its website says the menu includes homemade ice cream, a dairy-free frozen dessert, no-sugar-added ice cream and a growing range of to-go treats.
If you cannot decide, the site describes a six-flavor sampler that lets you choose six flavors to try. It also says party packages can be arranged by email. The directory lists these hours, but call ahead to confirm: noon to 9 PM Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and noon to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. The phone is (732) 831-4563.
The Godek Center For Personal Enhancement, Toms River
This is a plastic surgery practice at 1430 Hooper Avenue, Suite 200A, with a second office in Wall. Its website lists surgical procedures for the face, nose, breast and body, along with non-surgical options including injectables, skin treatments, laser services and body contouring.
The website says appointments can be scheduled through its contact page, and it mentions virtual consultations and financing through PatientFi. The directory lists these hours, so call ahead: Monday 8 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday 9 AM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 4:30 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday 9 AM to 2:30 PM. No hours are listed for Saturday or Sunday. The Toms River number is (732) 281-1988.
A & F Italian Specialties Market, Forked River
A & F is a family-owned market at 231 North Main Street. Its website says it has served the Shore area for over 30 years, and that breakfast, lunch, deli, bakery, butchery and prepared foods are all made under one roof.
The site mentions sourdough, semolina and seeded twist breads baked daily, house-made sausage and fresh cuts prepared on site, and catering for offices and events. It says dine-in and takeout are both available. The directory lists hours of 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Saturday and 8 AM to 4 PM Sunday.
