About
Yearbook Records is a music shop on North Main Street in Lanoka Harbor. The store carries new and used vinyl records, cassette tapes, compact discs and DVD or Blu-ray titles, along with merchandise and gift cards. It also buys collections of vinyl, CDs and cassettes, and asks sellers to get in touch before bringing items in.
When buying collections, the store generally looks for music from the 1970s onward. Its want list names current pop, hard rock, every subgenre of heavy metal, punk, folk-punk, pop-punk, emo, indie rock and pop, psych, industrial, goth, experimental and electronic music. Sellers are asked to reach out by phone, email or a social media message before bringing records, CDs or tapes in to sell or trade.
Inventory is also listed online, organized into new arrivals, featured items, new and used vinyl, cassettes, CDs, DVD and Blu-ray, merchandise, clearance and preorders. Many featured pressings are colored vinyl, and preorders are taken for upcoming reissues and releases. The store keeps a Record Store Day section for current titles and a separate one for past exclusive releases. The online checkout accepts major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay, and the site publishes its shipping and refund policies.
The Lanoka Harbor shop is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Order questions can be sent to the store's orders email address, and new stock and store news are posted to an updates page on the website.
